On April 10, 1925, F. Scott Fitzgerald introduced the world to one of the most beloved books – The Great Gatsby. Though the book had poor sales throughout the 20s and 30s, it was revived during WWII. It has spawned numerous stage and film adaptations, and is widely considered one of the greatest American works.
One of the most popular adaptations was the 2013 film, starring Leonardo DiCarprio and Tobey Maguire. Since the film’s release, many people have planned “Gatsby Parties,” where they don costumes and 1920s attire.
